Corus: Discontinues Kids’ Channels This September

As part of ongoing changes in Canada’s media landscape, Corus Entertainment Inc. has announced it will be winding down five of its kids’ TV channels by the end of this summer. If you or your household enjoy these networks, here’s what you need to know:

What’s Changing?

Effective September 1, 2025, the following channels will no longer be available through RallyTV or any other provider in Canada:

• ABC Spark

• Nickelodeon

• Disney XD

• Disney Jr.

• La Chaîne Disney (French Disney Channel)

This is a network-level shutdown. Corus is pulling the plug entirely on these feeds, across all distributors, as part of a larger restructuring effort. Corus says the decision follows a “comprehensive review” of its channel lineup, distribution partnerships, and changing viewer habits.

What’s Staying?

If you’re a fan of Disney content, the core Disney Channel (English) will remain available through RallyTV. This channel continues to offer a strong mix of series, movies, and specials for all ages.

What Does This Mean for Rally TV?

We’ll be adjusting our TV channel lineup accordingly on September 1. We understand these changes may be disappointing for families who rely on these channels for kids’ programming.
